The Dakota 283 Kennebec Kennel is the original tough and long-lasting dog kennel created by Dakota 283. These durable crates are manufactured using the same process used to make industrial-strength military cases. The walls are tough and rugged to absorb impact while the corners remain virtually impervious to crushing, cracking, and other damage. The deep and wide interior is large enough to hold most dogs and other similar sized animals. By design, the carrier fits the rear interior of most trucks, SUVs, and hatchbacks (that are 48 inches wide or more). If your pet has an accident, the plastic easily rinses clean, and the small holes in the corners allow for easy drainage. There’s plenty of air circulation too, and thanks to the double-hinged door, access is never a problem. On the top, you’ll find two large grip-handles that make lifting and maneuvering the Kennebec a snap. Limitations and Warnings

Dakota 283 manufactures high-quality and innovative products to contain and protect your dog. We take pride in serving the vast majority of the dog population with our products. With that said, our framed door kennel products can not contain ALL dogs. We expect that there are some breeds and or pets that are beyond containment with our products. While we have had great success in kenneling aggressive dogs, we are not claiming that we can contain every dog. A good example would be a very aggressive Belgian Malinois. Dog owners know their dogs intimately and should be the person that makes the final determination regarding the use of any product or kennel. We are regularly working on additional products and upgraded designs that will give a higher degree of containment for aggressive breeds. If you have any questions concerning these products or if a kennel is right for your dog, please reach out to us so we may help you through the decision process. Dakota 283 products are exceptionally durable and with proper care will provide many years of use for you and your pet. The Dakota 283 product warranty does not cover items not purchased from our website or an authorized Dakota 283 dealer, damage caused by abuse or alteration of the product, not using the product as intended, improper installation, wear and tear, and chewing or damage caused by your pet. Knowing your pet’s personality, crate training, and properly supervising your pet while using our products will ensure your Dakota 283 product will last and provide years of Unparalleled Pet Protection.

Dakota 283 Return Policy

Front Range Gun Dog understands that sometimes mistakes happen. If you ever receive an incorrect product or an item that is damaged or defective, please contact our Customer Service Department by calling 720-557-6075 for a refund or exchange (same item only). Products received damaged or with missing parts or items must be reported within 5-days of receipt or risk incurring additional shipping charges. Please inspect and test your product upon delivery as not all damage may be immediately visible. If you receive an item with carrier-related shipping damage, you may need to provide pictures of the product and packaging.

With our prior authorization, undamaged purchases in original packaging may be returned at the customer’s expense within 30-days for a refund.  We inspect all returned items, and Front Range Gun Dog reserves the right to adjust the refund depending on the condition of the returned item.  Front Range Gun Dog reserves the right to review, refuse, or approve any return, replacement, or refund at its sole discretion.  Items purchased on clearance, with special pricing, or with limited time promotions may not be returnable.
